Hello th community,

i am planning to upgrade my existing setup by almost replacing it totally.
I have a rough budget of about 800$ and can only keep the SSD and HDD of my old system.

When thinking about a new build i came to the conclusion that i want a skylake cpu for the system which i do not plan to overclock.

So after some research i cam up with folloying build:

CPU: Intel i5 6500 - Newegg - 200$
GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB - Newegg - 250$
MB: Gigabyte H170 Gaming 3 - Newegg - 100$
PSU: Cooler Master G450M - Mindfactoy - 54$
RAM: HyperX Fury 16GB 2133 MHz DDR4 - Mindfactory - 105$
Case: Rosewill Stryker M - Newegg - 45$

Makes a total of ~750$.

The most advice i probably need for the PSU and mainboard.
I chose the H170 because i do not need a Z170 for overclocking as that is not planned. I also looked at the Asus B150 Pro Gaming as it is cheaper but i don't know which one is better.
When it comes to the PSU im rather helpless as there seem to be quite a large amount of pricey and modular PSU, so i picked like one the first i saw, recommendations would help me a lot here.

When it comes to the Memory, i am currently using a 8GB DDR 3 Dual Rank Module but i guess it cannot be reused for this build, so i would have to get some DDR4 RAM for the Skylake architecture.

So if there are any more or less obvious replacements for this builds just let me know, i am glad about any advice. :)

Greetings,
Kraekke

I would drop down to the B150 if it is cheaper. As for the PSU, I would stick with a CX series (maybe CX450 or CX500M). They are usually on sale. There are cheaper DDR4 8GBx2 sets out there. I've seen some for $80, but RAM prices change all the time. It's all about getting it at the right time.

Other than that, it seems pretty decent to me.
