Build compatibility, and how is it?

Hola people

I m building a PC but i m not sure if these parts are compatible. My friend gave me these suggestions and i cant find some of the parts on pcpartpicker. I m australian btw so the prices and demand here are different from the USA.

I m going to do heavy gaming, though only occasionally.
I m on a tight budget and am cutting costs here and there

CPU: i5 3470 (friend selling)

ram: G.Skill 1x8gb 1600mhz (not going 2x4 not worth it and it is $20 more), is it really worth it to upgrade to 2x4gb?

GPU: Gigabyte gtx 760 OC

PSU: -Aywun A1-5000 500w OR
-thermaltake litepower 600w OR
-thermaltake smartpower 500w OR
-antec neo eco 520
I m not sure about which PSU is best.

I know these are a lot of stuff but it will help me a lot. Total cost is around 800ish

well i understand but go for these specs--
msi B75MA P45 mobo. with 1600 mhz ram supported and one pcei 3rd gen and 6gb/s headers supported
same processor
kingston 2( 4GB DDR 3 1600mhz hyper x blu)
msi gtx 760 oc 2 gb
psu- seasonic 520 watt
rest is gud... with these specs u will surely and 100 percent can play games at 1080p ..and with ultra settings....i have myself research a lot on these config and its awesome...

That motherboard will need a sandy bridge CPU to flash the bios in order to use that CPU. Get b75 motherboard there Cheap and will work with that cpu out of the box. Yes it worth it getting 2x4gb sticks dual channel is a lot nicer then single channel

is there an alternative, seasonic PSU adds 100$ to the cost. My friend says he will give me the PSU free along with his $150 i5 3470, which is why i dont want to get another PSU unless it is much better.

Is there a reason not to go r9 270, or should i go GTX 660 instead, or should i just leave the GTX 760 since idk if it needs more than 500w PSU

Idk why are u going with Asus go with msi b75ma p45 this board is awesome and reliable and sexy too and this has more oc stability and has realtek hd audio codec 887 which is awesome too means there is no lagging of sound when u r playing hd in game videos which Asus dont have and msi gtx 760 only gonna use 175watt power maximum and cpu 75 watt max, means the whole setup only gonna use approx 350-400 watt so need to worry....have fun and there no need to worry......
