Additional Comments:

Motherboard: Asrock P67 Extreme4
This isn't my favorite motherboard. It had the best reviews for awhile. Asus' uefi looks a lot better, but reviews seem to be mixed. I wasn't real impressed with gigabytes touch bios. I'm also considering the EVGA P67 SLI. Not a lot of reviews so far, but looks promising. I don't think Z68 has anything to offer that I need, but I'm more than open to suggestions. Even though I won't use it much, I would like 1394 on the rear panel. Some of the z68 boards don't offer this. Anyways, the motherboard is the only thing I keep going back and forth on.

Memory: Corsair vengeance 8gb, or perhaps the newer low profile version.

GPU: Leaning towards 6950 2gb. or a 560 Ti, 570

HDD: WD Black 2tb I see a lot of people recommend the samsung spinpoint 1gb, but I would like more storage than that and don't want to mess with multiple hdds or raid. I do plan on adding a ssd later...something in the 120gb range.

Lastly, this isn't my first build but it has been awhile (9 years). This will be a massive upgrade coming from an Athlon xp 1500 with a geforce ti4200.

Thanks in advance for any advice.,2939.html <----- review of those boards. The Asrock looks to be solid imo. Just make sure you update to the latest bios on whatever board you end up choosing. $549.98 $20.00 Mail-In Rebate Card Price After Mail-In Rebate(s): $529.98 FREE SHIPPING
