Build Critiques High-End MITX

Just sold my PC and I'm ready to build a new one in the next couple weeks or so.

It's going to be my primary computer mainly used for gaming, backing up other computers to (4), some moderate photo and video editing, and other general use like web browsing and Netflix bingeing.

I have Amazon Prime and Newegg Premier as well as a local TigerDirect so those are my preferred vendors though I don't really care that much about where I get the parts.

I'm only going to be on 1080p for now, and I wanted to try my hand at configuring and building a MITX PC instead of the full or mid ATX towers I'm used to. I prefer Intel for CPU's, GPU brand doesn't matter, and if I can squeeze in an optical drive that would be nice because I do use one on a weekly if not daily basis.

That said, here's what I have so far, let me know what you think and if you have a better solution for a MITX build. Also, I'd like to use the Maximus VII Impact instead of the VI Impact but that's not on sale yet and thus not on PC part picker.

Stock fans that come with the H100i can get a little loud.

Not sure on the 4TB green drive. I own a couple different sizes that I use for bulk storage, and they do all right, but a 7200rpm drive wouldn't break the bank compared to this build.

Not to familiar with Silverstone as a brand of powersupply, that one looks to be made by FSP, so it should be good.

I think 2tb HDDs have a lower failure rate than, 4tb HDDs. But that build looks amazing!

so maybe two 2tb wd greens? I really don't care about speed, they're just for backing up my family's data as well as some media like songs and movies so I figured greens will be quieter and cheaper. And possibly Noctua fans on the H100i?

for data id get 2x2tb red drives from wsterndigital and stock fans are good unless u want silence

for the price of 2 fans, silence would be nice. Also, is there any real benefit to using Red's instead of Green's if they aren't going to be in RAID?

I should probably just get a couple 2tb reds and throw them in a raid 1, I doubt I'll actually need 4TB

no issues with Asrock boards? Functionally it has 2 less power phases, 2 less usb 2.0 and no eSata but adds a Sata Express port, so barring any qc issues it should be pretty good and $100 less which allows for another 500gb ssd. I'm going to buy the XFX card from a friend who used it to mine for a couple months, but it has a lifetime transferable warranty so that should be okay and saves at least $100

well prob u wont be overclocking on a mini-itx board anyways. the question is do u need 2 extra usbs>?
