Hey guys, first time building a custom PC which is for gaming/ rendering purposes, I am wondering if the build i have below is solid for what i need and if it is quiet. Do you recommend any improvements or changes, is there anything i am missing?

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz 8MB LGA1151 Skylake Boxed CPU.

Cooler: Corsair CWCH60-SE H60-SE Universal Hydro High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler.

Motherboard: ASRock Z170 Extreme4 Intel Z170 S1151/4xDDR4/3xPCIEx16/HDMI/DVI/DP/USB3.1/ATX Motherboard.

Memory: Patriot 16G Kit (8Gx2) DDR4 2133 Desktop RAM.

Hard Drive: Seagate 3.5" SSHD 4TB ST4000DX001 NAND 8GB SATA3 5900rpm 64MB Hybrid HDD

PSU: Antec HCG-750M 750W High Current Gamer 'Modular' Gaming PSU.

Graphics card: Gainward 4G GTX 970 Phantom PCI-E VGA Card

Monitor: Benq 24" EW2440L Edge-to-Edge VA-LED 1920x1080 4ms GTG HDMI-MHL D-SUB LED Backlight LCD Monitor

Case: Antec 300-U3 Three-Hundard U3 Gaming USB3.0 Tower without PSU (so the PSU i buy i just install in here i imagine)

Thanks, Matt :)

I think better mainboard and memories will help you to have better performance and if the mainboard and graphic card be from same manufacturer they can be compatible better :)

Build looks pretty good. Here´s my comments.

CPU COOLER : I´d go with an aircooler instead of the liquid cooler you chose. H60 is about equal to a 212 EVO. 212 evo is easier to install, more silent and doesn´t risk leaking/exploding, as there has been reports on from H60.

STORAGE DRIVE : Be careful about more than 2 TB storage drives, as they tend to fail more often. I´d suggest maybe a 500 GB SSD + 2 TB Hybrid drive instead. You can always add another 2 TB drive to the build if you need more space.

PSU : There are cheaper version with tight voltage regulalations, good ripple supression and better certification. Antec PSU are good in general though.

VIDEO CARD : I have no personal experience with the gainward version.

MONITOR : I´d go for a monitor with a higher resolution, since your graphic card can easily pull more than 1080p. Maybe a Gsync Monitor.
