When you get into your BIOS, have you tried selecting the DDR4-3600 XMP profile for your RAM from there? The system might be trying to use improper timings for the RAM if you set it some other way. Clearing the CMOS should reset that though.
Yes, I selected DDR4 3600 profile I believe that was defaulted to. Would flashing my bios help in this situation?

Yes you should. When you have instability or hardware that is not detected properly you update your BIOS.

New BIOS updates add memory compatibility etc.

What is the BIOS version you're on right now?


Not sure, but it's the one that came with the board unless it's possible to update BIOS from the operating system and there was a new one in the pack of drivers I installed. That's the one thing I haven't tried but it's my plan to do so when I get home and sleep. I work night shift and I'm using breaks to get ideas about what might be wrong.
