Tomorrow i will be purchasing all the parts for my first gaming rig. I have done tons of research on the forums here and other sites, so i have a good idea of the parts i need. This build must include an OS (pref win 8.1). I will most likely be over-clocking at some point so that is something to keep in mind aswell.

Here is a good outline of what i want. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/tazz4795/saved/4AaJ

What do you think? Suggestions or completely different builds within budget are welcome.

Also will i need to buy case fans since my selected case doesn't come with any?

Though it is more expensive than the build you posted, the shipping from microcenter would cost around $25 so it ends up being the same price.

Thank you for the suggestions. Would you recommend the gigabyte GA-970a mobo over the asus m5a97 for any particular reason? Also will i need to buy case fans for either of these builds? If so can you recommend a good cheap fan. Thanks!

Higher levels when overclocking and no you don't need fans as the case comes with the a fan setup of two fans, one at the top the other at the rear.
