anyone can recommend a superior build for graphic and design particularly on:

cpu
motherboard
graphics card
ssd
hdd

i'm also on a budget, most likely $700-$1000 that can run smoothly on these softwares:

Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom
CorelDraw X6
Autodesk AutoCAD

hope to hear from you guys, thanks! :)

For under thousand dollars, this is a very good build for video editing, just overclock that CPU to 5 GHz, and then the 8 cores running at 5 GHz should be a beast for Video Editing. The i5's are good but for Video Editing, i would prefer the AMD's more cores over the better single core performance of the i5 because at the end of the day Video Editing tools benifit multi threading performance more. So the 8350 is a good CPU for Editing. Just get it and overclock that to 5 Ghz which is achievable on that CPU.

So here is the editing beast :

when you've mentioned AMD as my cpu, honestly i was a little bit skeptical but as i read on, i guess i should consider it because of cores that it has for multi-tasking and other stuff. i can see that you've include a seagate as storage, what can you say about the brand? is that good compare to WD's caviar black? anyway, this is the best answer since you're the only on who answered it so far but i guess i should consider this as best option. thanks!

@Sangeet i forgot to ask what can you say about the Gigabyte motherboard? is it okay compare to others specially Asus and MSI in terms of pairing with AMD cpu amd and overclocking? thanks! :)

The Seagate Barracude and WD Caviar Blue are almost at the same level, the WD is said to be more reliable but none has the clear advantage over the other. So if you want something that is more reliable then go for Caviar Blue, it is just a few dollars more.

Also if you can extend your budget and get the WD Caviar Black, then it should be awesome, but the price of a WD Caviar Black is somewhat high, that is why i suggest you to do your own research and go for The Seagate Barracuda or the WD Caviar Blue. Go for whatever you find good.

The reason that i selected the Gigabyte UD3 motherboard, because it has an advantage over every other motherboard at that price range and that is that this motherboard has got a very good 8+2 phase VRM (Voltage Regulator Module), which is what I or anyone with knowledge of Overclocking would prefer over the other motherboards with relatively poor VRMs. That is why i selected this motherboard, as it is a beast in overclocking.

Hence you can ensure that your motherboard won't burn out when you would overclock it to like 5 Ghz. So this motherboard should be good for everything. Just get it. It would not be a problem because the quality of this motherboard is very good.

I made some research like what you've said. Some people said that WD's easily die out and others said SG's die out easily too but i guess it depends on me which to choose.

Also, i've read some articles about overclocking and i'm not surprised why you've included a cpu cooler. The only problem i have right now is how to overclock the cpu. By the way, if i overclock my cpu, do i have to overclock the GPU as well? I'm just wondering if there are big differences in performance between an overclocked CPU with unoverclocked GPU and with an overclocked one. Do I have to add another cooling components for it?

Anyway, i'm now convinced with this build and surely i will buy these components as soon i get the money for it.
Thanks! :)

I do not think that i am the right guy to tell you how to overclock. You should start a new thread, there are specialists out there in the same forum, they can teach you overclocking much better than me.

I would say, start a new thread and the Overclockers would tell you how to achieve overclocks with the 8350. I am not the right guy for that. I hope you understand.

That's okay, i'm not expecting that everyone can answer all of my questions. But the bottom line here, i got the answer which i'm looking for. Everyone has their own strengths in knowledge about computers and everyone should know that. Thank you again sir!
