Well i do understand all these terms.. But i had also come to know that this system will be good in terms of gaming only but not in terms of day to day use..
As per Ashish's reply; i am extending my budget to 32 K.. Please provide a config of Intel core i3 with a graphic card

Intel I3 3210 - rs 6500

Gigabyte h61-d2h mobo - rs 2900

Corsair 4gb ram 1333mhz - rs 1800

Wd cavier blue 500gb - rs 2900

Dell in2030m 20inch - rs 6000

Corsair cxv2 430w psu - rs 2500

Saphhire hd 7770 1gb - rs 8000

Logitech keyboard &mouse mk200 - rs 700

Nzxt gamma cabinet - rs 2500.

Total - rs - 33,800

This is best for you.

1)avoid wd green series hd,only get blue one

2)get branded psu what i have suggested, not local one

Reccommended store in lamington:

1)primeagbg

2)itwares

3)ambica infotech , Mccan infoys

avoid online (overpriced)

but the price of cabinet and graphic card looks over for me as i want to get a 1 Tb HDD..
I was hoping to get a Graphic card around 5K..

u could also get a gaming configuration at this price
processor amd a4 -5300 or latest a4 processor at rs 3000 to 4000
graphic card amd hd 6670 1gb ddr5 at rs 5000
ram 4gb 1333mhz ddr3 crossair vegeance at rs1700
monitor any company like acer and samsung at 5000
dvd rom at rs 900
speakers at rs 750
mouse and keyboard at rs 600
motheroard of amd asus at rs 3000 take t the amd supported am2+/am3+ cpu mobo
psu 450 zeb ronics at rs 700 to 800
and any cabinet at rs 1000-1500

note: this system configuration is well optimized and u can play all the latest games at high settings with 1600*900 resolution.

total price is rs 24000 and i suggest u to buy atleast a crossair 450vpsu which will cost rs 24000+2500=rs 26500

hey why are u telling him to go with a core i3 -3210 which will perform the same as a i3 540.
and dont say that it has a higher intel hd graphics model as the graphic card cannot run samutaneously with the intel hd graphics so this high priced i3 is of no use.
i have this processor in our computer lab in our school .

u should have suggest him a low cost i3 which is comprable to this new version of i3.
for eg ; i3 540 at rs 5400 which will not botlleneck with hd 7770 and give maxed out graphics in games such as gta 4 avp crysis 3 etc

oh man ! i3 3210 is ivy bridge cpu and i3 540 is 1st gen cpu there is big difference between them roughly around 15-20 % difference due to ipc improvement + consumes low power

Show me a proof that i3 3210 = i3 540 and take rs 10000 from me ;)

Do some research before you post.

i3 3120 will just give a bump of +3fps for rs 1500 in games
and u can get a very comparable performance from prevoius generation i3 540
so yes why shuld he waste extra money as he can get a stable 35+fps performance with a hd 7770 1gb ddr5 and core i3 540.

hey why have u not recommended a amd cpu at that price. he could have got a better cpu than a i3 540 and a i3 3120 .
it would have given him a +3fps bonus from the above mentioned.

Show me a PROOF where i3 3220 is 3 fps more than i3 540

Hey buddy. The processor you mentioned is just crappy for gaming. A4 is basically made for low end and entry level gaming (Which means at 1600x900 it would only support low quality). Also, this processor is very weak when you are thinking of playing new games. Games like Battlefield 3 is very processor intensive and the dual core A4 would just be a wastage of money. The price tag of 25k which you are suggesting seems attractive, but wont last long for a year. :p
I believe that the processor one chooses should at least be 7k-9k. Otherwise, it would just be a wastage of money.

I can understand your position. I'm from Delhi and I feel that you should wait a bit more for the Rupee to go up. Otherwise, as of now, I'd suggest you this build:

PLEASE NOTE: As of now this rig can range between 32k - 38k. But once the rupee goes up again, this will cost about 32k.
