Friend's Dad was asking for PC to edit videos on. He does a local weekly talkshow/news type show and is looking to have his own PC to edit on. He usally edits with Adobe After Affects. He's looking to drastically shorten his render times from his current PC (2010ish Mac Pro)
So, I dont have much expirerence creating builds meant for edititing. So, my main questions are how important is the CPU power to GPU power ratio? Is the 960 to weak for this build in comparsion? Is it too strong (though I doubt it)? Also they didnt seem keen on overclocking so I put in the non-k CPU to save some money. Should I get a different chipset motherboard? If yes, then which? I'm also open for monitor and case suggestions. :)
