I am putting together a PC build and would like some advice on the components. I am trying to stay under 950 for parts + OS. I don't have a functional computer at home right now, so I will do both gaming and some standard computing on this machine. I would like to be able to run games on mid-range to high settings, but do not have a need for overclocking or top of the line settings. I downsized the Mobo after some discussions and want to make sure I didn't go too low. Aside from the Mobo, I'm curious if I'm overkilling the RAM. Is 16 necessary for this build?

Thanks for any help for a first time builder.

PSU I am not sure on. Not many Rosewill units are very good. I would change it for a Seasonic 520w, at the very least. Crucial MX300 275gb is cheaper, and better. As it is a reference cooled model, I wouldn't go with that RX 480. If you really want an RX 480, a Sapphire Nitro would be a better choice. This build is a bit more expensive, but I don't have potential mail in rebates turned on, and the motherboard I chose is a full ATX board, with M.2 support, and better audio.

You may be better off spending a bit more, on PSU, and getting an Evga B2 750w, or a Corsair CX650m. 520-550w is cutting it a bit close, on wattage.
