Currently I am using a store bought PC (Which I will be using the DVD Drive from.)

The first video I saw was this JackFrag's 2014 PC Build so all the parts are what he has chosen except the case.

Parts: http://pastebin.com/CuStBJ6E
My price range is at around $600. I'm trying to save some money by reusing the DVD Drive and transferring stuff from the Hard Drive from my current PC (Or so I was told I could do by saving money on OS Windows 8 and stuff.)

I'm planning to use this PC to play (medium-high/ultra) video games, music production, streaming (possibly but not thinking of it right now). Playing games and music productions are one of the biggest for me. A few list of games that I would like to play in medium-high/ultra settings would be
GTA V, Skyrim [w/ mods], Payday, Arma 3, Minecraft [w/ mods], Far Cry, and a few more smaller games.

I already have a keyboard, mouse, and monitor (I have a few spare monitors that are older but still work which I plan to have dual monitors in the future).

Q: Will all these parts fit into this new case that I have chosen? How can I be sure before purchasing any of these?

Q: Anything that I should change?

Anything else I should know about? Thanks.

Solution
Yes, all of the parts chosen will fit since it is an ATX case. Assuming you plan on playing at a resolution of 1920x1080, I'm pretty sure you can pull Medium at a minimum for all of those games. High/Ultra for others, with GTA V being the most demanding of those you listed. All of the parts are compatible, so that should not be a problem. Seems like a solid gaming PC for the price.

If you have any doubts as to whether your PC could run a game, head over to http://www.game-debate.com/ and put in you PC specs and check out a game. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Not currently going to by these but it would be nice to know,

What are some good monitors, keyboards, and a mouse? [Maybe even a headset]
I'd prefer if all three in total could cost less than $100~$150.

Sorry I didn't notice that part. When you transfer you old hard drive to your new mobo you will need to reinstall windows. If you have the disk, it won't be a problem.

I see Schabale, just googled a bit and I understand it now. I guess I will have to buy/get Windows since I don't have a disc for it either.

Thanks.

No problem. If you are a student at a University, you may be able to get a large discount on Windows. And as for the mouse/keyboard and monitor question, I do not know enough about those to feel confident in recommending a product. Best of luck!
