Very nice build there for under $800! ~EDIT: Just noticed its under $800 without motherboard, but still a nice build 😀

Both motherboards are of very good quality, personally I have an ASUS motherboard, the -v PRO, but since the Gigabyte supports almost exactly the same features other than a slight difference in PCI lanes, I wish id gone for the cheaper board, the Gigabyte. ASUS seems to expect a slight premium for "brand name" which if I had realised when I built my PC - id have avoided paying.

does it having a slight different in PCI Lanes make it harder to Overclock. I'm not sure how deep of a O/C my friend wants to do but the PCI Lanes shouldn't matter towards O/Cing it right? My own build right now is about 1400 So I'm looking to get it towards 1200 while somehow keeping intel i5 2500k and gtx 580. Thank you for that build I'm sure he will like it(Heck i like it 2 but I want a 580 still lol)

Yes, PCI lanes dont affect CPU overclocking.

Ok that sounds great. I got a budget of max $1250 including tax and I'm wondering is it possible to have a Evga gtx 580 combined with intel i5 2500k and still keep it under 1250 under tax.

I've been trying really hard but i cant do it close to 1250. I was going to go with the AsusZ68 LE version but i read on sites that O'Cing could be a problem something to do with the heat of the LE.

can the Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 ATX LGA1155 Z68 DDR3 1PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 2PCI HDMI SLI SATA3 USB3.0 combined to an Intel i5 2500k easily O/C to 4.1-4.3ghz.

I'm thinking you might want to drop down to a 570 or 6970. Also this psu is manufactured by Seasonic as is that Corsair and it saves you a few more dollars.

aw thanks bro so this one is pretty much same thing.. 134 is kinda cheap hopefully its a good PSU cuz 580 needs 600 atleast leaves 250 for O/C + other stuff appreciate ur help
