[SOLVED] Build just for Total War games

I'm getting ready to start a new build for gaming but I don't game like most people. I usually play Total War games and also plan on playing Knights of the Old Republic. Other than that I just plan on using it for watching movies and iTunes. My budget is going to be around the $1,200 range but can go up to about $1,400 if need be.

I play the Total War series and they are very CPU /GPU intensive on my machines......so I would keep that in mind.

Well thankfully I'm already going in with some hard drives to help keep my money more focused to other things but might update later for more space. But looking at probably an AMD chip because some of the newer generations seem a bit cheaper but just as fast and productive. I think the GPU is the part I'm having trouble with since they are updated and have newer and much better models nearly every 6-9 months.
