Build me a Gaming PC Under $1,000

May 17, 2011
Hey all, it's that time of year again... PC Building season! (well for me anyway) I need a new PC before the first of the year... I'm looking at something between 900-1000 USD.

Parts needed- WINDOWS 7, MOBO, CPU, GPU, HDD, Optical Drive, RAM, Case, and a Power Supply.

Don't need- Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, or Speakers.

Overclocking- Minimal

Some help would be appreciated!! :wahoo:

Also, I hear there is some big sale tonight? Should I jump on it then and pull the trigger?

+1 if you cannot afford that get this i recommend his build if you can swing it though.
That build looks good, a H77 motherboard would do the same job for less though.

Also you can't overclock so a 450W+ PSU is fine so long as you have enough connectors.

Maybe get a 500GB hard drive and possibly a slightly cheaper case as well and see if you can fit a ~120GB SSD in there.
