My budget is £500. I already have a monitor, mouse and keyboard.

I will be using my PC for after effects for editing HD gameplay videos. I basically need something that can run after effects well, render well and MOST IMPORTANTLY render the preview well. I will NOT use this PC for gaming! Just editing and internet browsing. I hope you can build me one with a 16gb ram.

I dont need anything extremely fast as I won't be editing all the time nor am I an editing PRO with a project completed every day , I would just like something kinda fast and smooth.

Thanks for reading!

you can start from here
i5 haswell
16GB ram
GTX 750 Ti for CUDA acceleration mercury playback engine in AE

this build is similar to my vid render machine

I would suggest a I7 but your budget isn't gonna fit that. A i3 wouldn't be too bad for this build as you get the hyperthreading features that the i7 has but the i5's don't. A itx or low budget A TX build might be the end product. I can recommend some motherboards and parts if you'd like.

The i5-4670k and the i7 have rarely ANY difference when it comes to video rendering.
