My gaming laptop just took a dump on me so I need to get a new pc built asap.

I have everything I need as far as mouse/keyboard/monitor/windows etc, so I just need the tower part.

Can you recommend a build? If I could order it all from one place that would be cool too.

Thanks for help!

This build has the best value for money and should max out almost all games out there.

^ Great build, but that PSU isn't certified for Haswell, the 650w version is, however. But I'd probably be inclined to go for the Corsair TX650 instead. And is there a reason why you wouldn't include an SSD at $1000 budget? Also to OP, are you comfortable overclocking?

I am deeply sorry I forgot about HDD actually, also changed PSU as it was on a huge rebate. Also semi modular -

This would be my take on the build. Mostly the same, with some parts which I'd prefer and are about same price. The Asus 760 stays the coolest of the bunch and only uses a single 8-pin power connector, my favourite version of the 760. I would note though that whichever build you go for, use the Gigabyte motherboard I suggested in this. It has a much more reliable VRM design, makes it a better overclocking board, most other features are roughly the same.

I went with the majority of luckiest charms build because it was all at mircocenter, which I have near me. But either way you guys were equally helpful so thanks to both of you.
