Good day comrades!

Im very fresh to this community and also not very good with pc specs so i have to ask for your help with it. Im planing on forging new pc in 2-3 months. My own made specs are:

CPU : Ryzen 1700
CPU cooler : Cooler Master V8
MOBO : ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming ATX AM4
RAM : ----
Storage : Sandisk - SSD PLUS 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Sandisk - Ultra II 960GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Graphics : Asus - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB Founders Edition Video Card
Case : Cooler Master - Storm Enforcer ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU : Corsair - 860W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

1. Can all this components fit into my Case?
2. What RAM should i buy. I prefer to take something (2x8GB) that runs at 3200Mhz if it is possible cuz i heard that Ryzen 1700 restrics that?
3. Will my PSU be enough if i want to clock a bit processor and put later on one more GTX 1080TI 11GB FE Graphic?
4. Is this cooler good, can it keep my processor cold or i should switch to water cooling? If No, pls put a link of what water cooling u think is good.

Note: I am building this computer for Autodesk Maya 2016 modeling, animation, rendering, but also im hardcore gamer so i want games on ultra, eventally 4K.

Pls if something is wrong tell me, hope u answer fast cuz it's a bit urgent to me..

Tnx all, and stay safe :))

Solution
4k doesn't need much cpu power as you only need 60fps. Resolution makes virtually no difference to cpu load so 60fps @ 1080p is just as cpu demanding as 60fps @ 4k. For 4k its gpu power you need. Even an entry level Ryzen would work for 4k.

As for coffee lake expense we don't know but Intel need to strike back as Ryzen has made the i5 range look pointless so hopefully they will price it to compete. If you are aiming for 4k then as said cpu doesn't matter anywhere near as much as gpu, if you wanted 1080p/1440p 144Hz then Intel is still king by a good margin.
Best to ask in 2-3 months time. I think Intels new Coffee Lake CPU's will be out or just about to drop by then and could mix things up. Reports of 6 core i5's & i7's are out and Intel already has the strongest cores. Not saying there is anything wrong with your build but things may have moved on a little in a few months.

You can do way better for the money.
As mentioned thought wait for Intel's new 6 core which will be out by then before you build, should be killer for gaming.
2-3 months is way too early to plan, everything will be different.
Wait until a few days before you buy and PM me or make another thread.
Get a 2TB HDD and 250GB SSD, then put the rest into 1080Ti SLI and a good monitor.

That new Intel processor is probably going to be much more expensive, and i somehow like this Ryzen series, read a lot about how good it is, plus clocking it to 4.0Ghz should be more than enough for games. Im just in love of AMD and using forever, kinda dont like Intels. Sure i will pm u or make another post about this config.
Tell me:
Why HDD over SSD, u think 960GB on SDD would not be enough? I heard that games on SDD slightly improve loadings + textures popups etc.
Will this Ryzen 1700 be a bottleneck with 2x1080ti?
Can i even run games on 4K with this config?

And if i want 4K on 144Hz with 2x1080 ti do u think Ryzen can keep up?
Myb is better that i take 1440p with 144Hz, i can do gaming just fine with that...

There are no 4k 144Hz monitors yet, rumour is later this year but with a ridiculously high price tag. 144Hz gaming at any resolution will work very well with OC'd Ryzen but will see lower minimum fps than an i7 setup, high fps gaming just benefits from stronger cores which Intel has. It's not a huge difference though.

However seeing as a single 1080Ti is good for 60fps @ 4k running sli 1080Ti's you should push around 100fps in modern games that support sli properly, problem is some games don't support it or support it poorly.

Wow, i didnt know that one. Then its 1440p!! Tnx a lot for clearing that to me, now i understand it. :) Will take 1440p and later on when they make 144hz 4K monitor i can think about upgrading pc specs. Stay safe, and thanks again!!

Thou they will cost hell. Not actually worth it to play on 4K yet. when u put + and -
