[SOLVED] Build new system or wait

I currently own a i7-6700k paired with a 1070ti and 16gb of ram. Im wondering if it would be worth building a whole new system? Im looking at a 2080 super and potentially a i7-9700k. Any ideas? I dont know if I should wait or if financially this would be a stupid upgrade. I move a lot so idk if building a MiniItx or MicroAtx would be a good idea either for shipping portability. Anything helps. Thanks!

If you arent having any performance issues with your pc there is no reason to upgrade.

Right now I have a 1080p 144hz monitor. Been looking at 1440p 144hz lately. I play D2, CoD, Siege, apex, and other similar games. No issues with current rig.

Will want a gpu upgrade for 1440p 144.

If your cpu is giving you framerates you are happy with now, you can get buy with just uograding gpu.
