I have recently created three builds after doing extensive research, I need to be able to play most games (Just Cause 3, Grand Theft Auto V, Battlefield 4, Far Cry 4 and many more) at 1080p max settings. I would like to get the best bang for the buck build, I don't want to be wasting my cash on something that is an overkill. The three builds will be listed below, you can make customizations to the builds and tell me which one is best for me. Please note that I will be overclocking all of the builds.

Thank you!

Do you think 2GB would be enough for most games? GTA V is a VRAM hog. I was thinking about getting a R9 390, but I'm not sure.

For current 60HZ 1080p the 390 is mostly overkill.
For the long run, no.

Do you plan on upgrading your monitor setup (multiple 1080p's or 1440p?) before upgrading to your next GPU? If so, I would go with the 390. If you don't, the 960 or 380 4GB cards should serve you fine for a while at 1080p.

I currently have a 720p 1680x1050 monitor, but will be getting a single 1080p monitor in the future I do not plan on playing at 2K or 4K. Do you think if I have no plans on playing at higher than 1080p, should I stick with the 960?

Okay, thanks for all of your help. I have decided that I will be going with the first build, I am not really concerned anymore as it seems that the GTX 960 is good and even if I need a better GPU in the future I can still upgrade.
