Build Opinions/Questions I Have

Hello! This is the first gaming pc i am building. I am looking to utilize a more recent and powerful mid-range CPU in the Intel Core i5-8600k and am basing my build around such. I am bent on later upgrading the memory to 16gb eventually, to upgrade storage in the future, and upgrade my GPU which atm will hopefully run a fair amount of games.
I am posting to ask
1 if there are any mods i can make to budget this build even more so
2 if the PSU is adequate or way more than adequate
3 probably what would like to know the most, what the best mid-range/budget investment on the CPU cooler and or recommended and suggested ones
4 and lastly how big and many fans i can fit in the front of the case i selected
Please and thanks!

Budget: $500-$800 (with/without Windows 10)

1| What sort of a budget are you working with? Without a guideline for us to compare it with, we might end up comparing apples to submarines.
2| We don't know the make and model of your PSU.
3| Cryorig H7 seems to be the best cooler for it's price at the moment.
4| Again, we don't know what case you selected.

On second thoughts, it seems like you intended to include a link to a parts list, perhaps on PCPartPicker...? If so I don't see the link.

Your previous build's GTX1030 isn't the right card for your task. In fact I was afraid of dropping in the GTX1050Ti since this system can accept a GTX1060 6GB easily.

Your PSU's choice isn't bad. It'll be more than enough for the build and the board you chose isn't a good board for that price. I tend to build smaller mid ranged systems which is why I opted for an mATX build.

Hey Lutfij,

So in the area of the video card, regarding the GeForce GT 1030, I am hoping to use that for the time being to run games such as Fortnite, LoL, Dota, Paladins, etc. I did some research and believe i will be able to run those games at high settings correct?
Also does the case i listed work however? I am asking so because i personally prefer the design of that case.
Does the RAM also have to be upgraded from $80 to the $104? What are the advantages there?
Lastly, what are drawbacks to the (mother)board i selected? And the advantages of the one you listed?
The cooler seems as a well-invested upgrade for $19 to $35.

Hi everyone,

I actually just have a few questions now and i will soon be on my way to purchasing all the parts.
1 For the Cougar MX330 ATX Mid Tower Case, does it fit only regular ATX boards? Or does the case also fit mini and micro ATX boards? It may be redundant to ask if a regular sized case would fit mini and micro ATX's but i feel as if it may be a possibility.
2 I also just had the remaining question of what the difference is between the RAM Ripjaws V Series 8gb (2 x 4GB) DDR4 [2133 vs 3200]?
3 And less importantly but would be helpful to know how many more fans i would be able to fit in said case
Please and thank you!
