I have ancient pc with athlon 2 640 (4 core 4 threads) and gpu gt 1030.
I was going to buy 5600x on release date but gpus disappeared for sane price.
Half year ago i was considering https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JynwPX 5600g pc (Ballistix ram 3200), b550 board, 970 evo plus. Now this whole pc i can buy for 700 usd (in europe prices are higher at start) which is fine if it was half a year ago. But with news about zen4 I'm not so sure.
What pc you would buy for 700-1000 usd or would you wait for zen4?
I need pc for competetive games like wc3, dota2, cs, gta. Also I want to learn web programming and stuff pro are using like docker images are heavy. Even compiling something like golang hello world takes 5-10 sec on current pc.
I don't know why, but I think this is the worst timing to buy new pc...
