Hi!

Could anyone provide me any updates needed for my new build?

Here is the PcPartPicker with the prices from our merchant in Europe, That's why prices are higher than US.

PCPartPicker Part List

GPU will be upgraded to Nvidia 3x series.

What I will be doing:

Editing videos in After Effects & Sony Vegas which is work, Asked previously and it seems that people recommend me to go with 3950x instead of 9900K for this task.

Gaming (A few hours a day).

VR Gaming.

Any assistance or guidance would be appreciated!

Have a great weekend

Solution
If you primarily are editing, go 3950x over 9900k.

The 3950x competes with a $1000 intel 18 core extreme edition in editing and will destroy a 9900k. The 9900k will pull ahead in gaming, but not by enough to negate the decrease in editing performance.

This isnt after effects, but here is Adobe premiere performance:

the 3950x destroys every single Intel HEDT CPU and the 9900k at editing.

Hi

The Intel 10980XE is just $100 more in my country, would that be better than a 3950x?
