Hi folks so I'm new to the community and this is my first own built pc ever(for gaming). I'm willing to spend about $400 give or take, can go over 30,40 bucks but not a lot more.
I already picked out some parts and would appreciate everyone to take a look and see if there is an issue.

Looks good. About as good as you'll get for that price range.

2 questions:
What's the advantage of having i3 dual core over FX 6300 (6 cores)? the clocks are almost equal.

Why not my Asus motherboard? Will this ASRock H81 be helpful for future upgrade?

Intel's single cores are stronger, and even though games are starting to use more cores, imo, you'll have to overclock the 6300 to get an okay performance.. but you can't without an aftermarket cpu cooler and that motherboard.

A problem came up since I've considered intel processsor. Will this motherboard be able to handle overclocking and future upgrade? (say i5 4690K OC along with 970/980 gpu)

Well, if you want to upgrade the PC later, this MAY be a better option..

Slightly weaker gpu, weaker cpu, but in return.. you get a bigger power supply (which is going for a good price) and a Z97 motherboard.
