Hey guys thanks for checking this out. OK, here is the deal...I have purchased most of these parts back in February-march and everything worked fine until middle of august. Then for whatever reason when I opened the case just to clean it, (with some compressed air) my pc no longer booted. I had a red cpu light on.
So, I took it back to microcenter in yonkers. (Where I had the pc built), and had them do a diagnostic test. Determined it was my Asus P8P67 Pro 3.0 motherboard that was bad. After back and forth battle with a bunch of people at Asus I got them to send me a brand new Asus P8P67 pro 3.1 model. But, I became inpatient during the whole back and forth discussion and went and purchase an ASRock Z68 PROFESSIONAL GEN3 motherboard.
Since I'm going to have my pc built I decided to add a few extras to my original build. M4 256 SSD, Antec High Current Pro HCP-1200, LITE-ON iHBS212-08
Just a couple of questions.
1. Any compatibility issues evident?
2. Should I use the P8P67 Pro 3.1 or the ASRock Z68 PROFESSIONAL GEN3 motherboard
3. Are sound cards worth purchasing? Or is my onboard sound good enough. ASRock supports 7.1 so I though it might be good enough.
4. Is my power supply good enough? I thought I was underpowered before at 850w, so I went and purchased a Antec High Current Pro HCP-1200 1200W
