Pretty Solid build, All i could suggest is upgrading your GPU and maybe sticking a bigger HDD in there like a 1-2Tb HDD because a 500Gb HDD is pretty small for keeping movies, music and games that's what I'm assuming its used for. I only say that because Ive filled a 500Gb HDD with just music and movies

I pretty much don't really use too much space, as for the GPU I want to upgrade it but I might hold out for a bit until I upgrade it. I am debating. (Maybe sometime next month i'll decide and grab a gtx980)

Upgrading your GPU is up to you but i would say to definitely do to get the most out of your games.

You're going to get better performance from two 4gb sticks in dual channel than 1 8Gb stick. A little tip is to always buy you're ram 2 or more at a time so you utilize the dual channel, triple channel and quad channel

ahh okay I forgot about the dual channel.

If you are going with 8Gb ram definitely go with 2x4Gb or if your budget isn't tight then buy another 8Gb stick that is identical to your current one might work out cheaper to be honest.

What Corsair PSU is it? If its the CX/CS/VS Psus, reconsider. It is a horrible PSU for the money

If the OP isn't going to overclock his CPU there really is no need for a better aftermarket cooler, Yes it will give better temps but it isn't necessary. Also he also said he was thinking about getting a Nvidia GTX 980

It is worth it, I would definitely choose the 2 970's over a 980

You've got a point, He didn't mention anything about OCing that's why I said what I said, And yes you are right about getting the non-k version he could well indeed put the difference towards the 980.
