So I have been thinking of building a new computer and just giving my old one to my mom as a house server or whatever she wants to use it for, but I would like some recommendations on which parts to get.

I'm currently thinking of using a MSI MPG X570 Gaming PRO Carbon for my motherboard but that's about it right now. Most likely i'm also going to take my gpu out of my old pc which is a RX 570. But those two things can be changed if I should change it.

To get to the point. What other parts would you guys recommend to finish my build?

To reiterate

Motherboard - MSI MPG X570 Gaming PRO Carbon Wifi
GPU - RX 570
CPU- ?
CPU Cooler - ?
Power supply - ?
Ram - ?
SSD or HDD?

Cheaper the better but then again a pc is only as fast as its slowest part so in the end it really doesn't matter.

p.s. I'm a AMD user, Thanks!

CPU would depend on your intended use, for gaming and general use I would go for R5 3600 and for hard work and streaming R7 3700x/3800x.
Cooler, well all Ryzen CPUs come with adequate but somewhat loud OEM coolers (yes much better than previous AMD coolers). For aftermarket cooler it would also depend on which CPU, how quiet you want it and eventual overclocking.
RAM, 2x8GB no less than 3200MHz Cl16. Make and model not important at those speeds.
PSU, good model with 600 - 650w.
SSD or HDD ?, I'd say both. Minimum 240-250GB SSD for OS and most important programs (best if it was an M,2 NVMe like Samsung 970 evo or Kingston A2000) and HDD for storage and eventually to install some less important programs or very large games.

CPU - Ryzen 1600 or 2600. 6-core CPU is enough. BOX version includes decent cpu cooler.
RAM - 8GB x 2, >3000MHz.
PSU - any "Gold" >500W.
SSD - SSD is very cheap nowadays. WD Blue 3D 1TB is only $100 (!!). Do not buy HDD, this is not necessary.
