Build Revisions (need help cutting down costs)

Alright, I'm going for the whole package here with this build. Please look through my items and help me shave some dollars if possible. For instance, I'm going with the Antec 900 case but is there an equivalent case for cheaper out there that you know of? Also, please share if you have any overall suggestions concerning the build, compatibility issues, etc.. I'm hoping this rig can stay with me for the next 4-5 years and able to play most demanding of games throughout that time. I'll most probably add in another 4850 down the line for CF.

That is a very solid build.

Each component you picked is quite solid. That will be a very nice build.

On the down side, there is really no fluff I would cut to save $$$.

That's a great build! You've really done your homework and shopped around for good prices.

I wouldn't change a thing except maybe pick up the OEM version of the CPU to save $10 since you've picked an aftermarket CPU cooler.

well as others have said its a pretty nice build u have but u might wanna checkout the lcd on tigerdirect again cause it says unavailabe now...anyways if u still want to shave off some dollars then get this

the case is equivalent or even better IMHO then the 900 which sounds like a jet engine with the above fan spinning full throttle...the 690 has around 9-10 fan accomodations and is very well built....i have one, plus the cable management is superior than the antec 900..search google for comparison; cm 690 vs antec 900......the deal also includes a cooler master real power pro 550watt PSU which is a better then their older extreme series power supplies...overall its a solid combo deal and easily enough for your current built...may be u can save some money on the case and PSU and get yourself an x48 mobo to get full 16x - 16x crossfire for the future but in that case 550watts wont be enough ....other then that u have a very nice built
