PC stability issues. Unable to root cause what piece of hardware is the culprit. I have a bit of a Frankenstein build, so if more info is needed just ask.

CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor
RAM: 2x G.Skill Intl F3-12800CL9-4GBXL (8GB total)
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P (bios version FB)
Power Supply: Corsair CX750M
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 1060 3GB

Computer will freeze at random times. Image/audio lock up and CPU seems to stop everything. Happens under varied system loads, sometimes while browsing internet/watching videos other times while gaming. No BSOD or error messages in the event viewer when this happens. Only fix is hard reset.

I have a bandaid right now that seems to mitigate the problem (still freezes but less often). Under BIOS settings I am disabling the "Turbo-core control" for FX-8350, adjusting DRAM voltage to 1.60V, and disabling cool & quiet mode. From other forum posts I was able to piece together these several fixes for similar hardware/scenarios.. but since it's not a 100% fix I kind of want to dig into it more.

Running windows mem-test passes for both sticks.
Have switched power supplies a couple of times, the one I'm currently using is relatively new.
Temperatures are not an issue, I have a Noctua NH-L12 CPU fan and from monitoring have not seen anything above 60°C (CPU is typically around 40-50°C).

Any thoughts on what might be causing the freezes? Thank you in advance!
