Gaming Build Request - $2,500

Background and Context

Hello. I have built about a half dozen gaming rigs, the most recent being in 2013 (Intel 3930K Sandyhook with GeForce GTX 680). Spent $500 on my CPU back in 2013 and comfortable with that price range this go around for CPU. Want a desktop primarily focused for gaming (Paradox turn based games, MS Flight Simulator 2020 and new titles). I will also do some novice to intermediate video editing and game streaming. Also used for general MS Office Suite for work, but nothing overly complex. Would like to explore using my rig to integrate with my home entertainment and efficiency equipment (AppleTV, Analog sound systems, Alexa).

My previous builds have been understated visually. For this one I’d like to try my hand at liquid cooling (if I can afford). Definitely pro LED lighting. This will be a bling setup. Would like suggestions on liquid cooling options.

My case is set: Thermaltake Tower 900 (Black or Snow).

Want a rock solid motherboard with quality wi-fi. Kinda like the high end MSI motherboards but seeking input.

Approximate Purchase Date:

Flexible. I hear the new Nvidia graphic cards should be coming this year with significant improvements over the previous generation, so willing to wait until September or so. Ideally would like to purchase before MS Flight Simulator comes out.

Budget Range:

$2,500 before shipping and taxes.

System Usage from Most to Least Important:

Gaming, video editing, music, general MS Office business use.

Are you buying a monitor:

No

Parts to Upgrade:

I’m hopeful I can use my power supply from my 2013 build: SeaSonic X-1050 ( SS-1050XM2 ) 1050W ATX12V / EPS12V .

Do you need to buy OS:

Yes. Will go Windows 10 OEM I assume.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts:

Newegg for now as they aren’t having as many issues fulfilling orders in light of Covid. Amazon also in the mix post Covid.

Location:

Seattle, Washington USA

Parts Preferences:

Windows, Intel CPU, Nvidia game card.

Overclocking:

Yes if simple UI to do so.

SLI or Crossfire:

Ideally not but I can be convinced.

Intel next gen. is also coming anytime now...

I would say that you might as well go full custom loop with a case like that instead of resorting to cpu and gpu AIOs...
I spent some time checking that out, and it goes over-budget with an Intel + Nvidia setup. AMD + Nvidia is within the budget on custom loop though.

So, going the AIO route:
