Hi all.
Canadian here.
My 15 year old nephew would like a PC that can run Farming Simulator 19 and American Truck Simulator at 1080p, 60fps.
We'd like the keep costs as low as possible while still building him a decent system.

Pre-built isn't out of the question either but I know the bang-for-the-buck isn't there, especially regarding the PSU, upgradability, etc.
I know that a discrete GPU will be required.

Windows 10
No preference for brands on the parts.

I am now going to sleep for 8 hours.

Excellent! I received further information today. Sister-in-law says maximum 1100CAD for everything, including monitor, speakers, headset, mouse and keyboard.
I figure monitor ~$200, speakers ~$30, headset ~$70, keyboard ~$30, mouse ~$30 = $360
Since Hellfire's $676+tax=$744
$744 + $360 = $1104, which maxes his budget out.

My nephew now said that he would like to play Fallout 4 and COD :\
For a Christmas present I would like to up his future GPU to 8GB of VRAM, any suggestions for a decent bang for the buck 8GB GPU?
Well, that definitely gives us some wiggle room with CPU/GPU/SSD/PSU...

I think a budget would be helpful. The above system is decend and very budget friendly.
If I had a dollar more I would most likely try to get an 8gb gpu and a 1 TB SSD like a Crucial mx500.

Thanks a lot, Hellfire!

Endeffekt, thanks for your suggestion. His parents wanted to know a price before committing to a build. I will go visit them this weekend to see if they are up for it! Hopefully they will heed your input!
