Hi!

Son and dad planning a build for a gamingsystem. Need help with good case to build in but also with recommendations for the whole system.

Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP

Budget Range: around 1000$, live in sweden so we have to find local stores for best prices.

System Usage : Gaming, online games and some FPS

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts to Upgrade: Whole new system

Do you need to buy OS: No (got a windows 7 full licence around)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden

Parts Preferences: Open for suggestions, prefer Intel CPU.

Overclocking: No (non of us have knowledge - yet)

SLI or Crossfire: - Do not know what to prefer-

Your Monitor Resolution: >= 1920x1080, 1920x1200

Additional Comments: Easy build case - full Tower? Looks also of some importance so please give
a few suggestions!

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Buildning Project - learn as we go. Please start with recommendations of good cases that are easy to build in.

Solution
Dad, either of the builds that was suggested will work great. I would go with david's one but changing the motherboard to one that allows sli in the future, a cpu cooler and the define r4 case, it's the best one under 100 dollars. It would look like this:

this is a little bit under your budget, because you are in sweden.
it does have an h97 board, but you can easily upgrade it to a z97 one.
