[SOLVED] Build thoughts?

Background story: $2000 to build a Pc, anything not spent is mine to keep(building for a co-worker's son). He just got a 1080p monitor so not going to game at anything above that for the immediate time being, gaming Pc and most of the games and expectations he has for the build are going to be crushed by what I put together. I'm just looking for some thoughts on...well, anything. I did add a Phanteks universal fan controller that isn't listed.

I read a review between that Gigabyte motherboard and the Asus, and it said that the Asus actually had more features. So that's why I went with it. The WiFi isn't a huge deal, but if he ever wants to go to a Lan party I figured why not included it.
I wasn't impressed with the Intel 660p reviews I read. I looked at it to be sure though. I also didn't include a WD Blue drive because he said he didn't neat more space than the 1tb ssd.
I wanted a different video card than the base nVidia one, but they were all either much more expensive or within the price range but on a preorder basis. I needed to get this built sooner rather than later.
I haven't round any reason to get the eVga PSU over the SeaSonic one to be honest.

That's a lot of personal preference stuff right there. I generally include the 660P because it performs about comparable to the Samsung 970 and is less expensive. The EVGA PSU is one of the best you can get right now, the Seasonic is a pretty good one as well.

Although it's definitely worth it to get the 3rd party card and not the NVIDIA base model. You can usually find higher stock speeds and better coolers that way.
