Just having the hardest time trying to fit a 690 into my $3k build. Any help?

Approximate Purchase Date: Not for a while, so maybe a bit above budget will be fine since the prices will drop by the time I get it. (Maybe summer 2013?)

Budget Range: $3000 USD

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming primarily.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg, unless Amazon has a CRAZY deal.

Location: Langhorne Pennsylvania

Parts Preferences: I7-3770k if it can fit, like to do some editing/rendering. BenQ XL2420T if it can fit, I mean you need a 120hz monitor to justify the ~120fps ultra on most games. Maybe an ASUS Maximus Formula? Switch 810.

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: No, don't need it with a single monitor.

Your Monitor Resolution: Preferably a 1920x1080 or higher with 120hz refresh rate.

Additional Comments: Leave a little room for upgrade fans, since I know I want to max them out in the 810. Also a 2 or 3TB drive separate from lets say a 1TB main drive will be nice for recording.

Solution
a 690 in the build is plan nut, it is overpriced, grab 2x670s instead. and if you keep posting like that less and less people are going to help you as they will think your a troll that just keeps asking help every few weeks or something of that sort. repost this when you really want to buy it not make a thread saying "ill buy this around 2013 of summer"

Pretty much because my priorities keep changing. Now my friend has asked me to be a part of his channel on YouTube and help upload videos for him. I know I put up a LOT of threads a month or two ago in a short time span because I knew little to nothing then. And this isn't asking for the same things. I can not figure out myself how to be able to fit a GTX 690 into my budget, and know a few people on this forum who have a good chance of being able to accomplish that. If you personally don't want to help, sure. You are not obligated to in any way.

It shouldn't be that hard. $1000 for the video card. $430 for the monitor you want. $320 for the CPU. Spend $200 on a good SSD, $200 on 2 mirrored 1TB Blacks for general storage, $100 for windows, $100 for a nice key/mouse set and you still have $700 for Case, MB and RAM. Should be pretty easy and leave you with change left over.

Just do a little homework first and you'll get better responses. Instead of "build me something, ask "how is this build I already speced out?"
