Hello everyone, I need some advice on a first build focusing on optimizing a gtx760 card. I can't decide between the evga, the msi, and the gb version, but I know that this card is good for overclocking and will plan on doing so.
I am on a flexible, but not overboard, budget, and would like a ssd included.
I do not necessarily care about sli, and I prefer intel i5, but open to suggestions based on overclock potential.
This will be my first rig, I will be using it for college work (I will be a graphic design major, mainly adobe cc) and also streaming games on twitch. (fps, lol, starcraft, bioshock etc)
If I forgot something let me know, I am still a noob! :)

Solution
Most manufactures include a DVI to VGA (DSub) Adapter (For DVI-I) in the box, if not there a couple bucks. You will be hard pressed to config a Haswell-760 rig for that price. The cheapest you go is between-1000-1100.

You might want to consider going to AMD or getting an older card and upgrading down the road

Also definitely upgrade your monitor, it would be pointless with this hardware not to game in 1080

You might want to upgrade the RAM from 16gb to 32 if your going to be doing a lot of media editing but it should be more than enough to start

^ Not sure how to quote on my mobile device, but I was really set on the 760, not 770. Much of the appeal of this build is the mid-high end performance at entry-mid level price.

Ahh...I misread my fault. Than you definitely don't need all that. This may be more your speed.

I have a usable monitor, keyboard, and mouse, but I think I will need to upgrade because mine uses the D shaped video out, almost positive the 760 doesn't have that.
I am likeing the build this far, but is there anyway to drop the price down to the $850-$950 pricerange?
I believe I can find a cheaper gpu, $50 dollars less, and someone mentioned $100 less from a smaller ssd. Any other places to take from? I can always upgrade when I have extra cash right?
