Question Build Upgrade - RAM Advice

I am looking for advice on taking this build to 64GB of RAM.

You have a single stick of 16 GB.

Standard advice would be to remove that and buy a single package containing 2 sticks of 32 GB each.

Or do you insist on re-using the 16 GB stick?

I am fine pulling that 16. I haven't built in a while and am afraid I'll by the wrong stuff. So a recommendation to get 64gb would be appreciated. I trust your brand recommendations.

I've successfully used Corsair and Kingston's Hyper X. You could have good or bad luck with any of them.

You might start with the choices shown on the qualified memory list for your motherboard at the manufacturer's web site.......but lots of RAM not on that list would work fine.

I'd concentrate on speed, price, and just 2 sticks rather than 4. You get to decide all of the "worth it" questions.

If you are semi-obsessed with RAM performance, you can drill down into the finer points of the components on the stick as far as your obsession allows. Most people don't; some do.
