Hey, I'm just wondering how to install all the drivers without an Optical Drive. Yes, I know I can use a USB, but can I use this method instead?: I hook up the Optical Drive from outside my PC, put in the disks needed for the drivers, and then remove the optical drive when finished.
Is there any problems with this method? Or should I just go on the websites instead and download from there and put it on a USB? I just find it more confusing to go on the website and download potentially dangerous things. Thanks!

you should just go to the website and download the latest drivers. Any drivers you have on a disc are all but guaranteed to be out of date.

Reminder only download drivers from the official manufactures website.

Yes you can just dangle a dvd drive out of the case for just this. It's simply ugly, there is no actual drawback other than you installing old drivers.
