I returned home only to find my trusty 3-year-old desktop unable to turn on. First thought was that it was the mobo, since the PSU was still powering the standby light on my GPU. I also used the paper clip test on my PSU and it passed, so it seems to still be functioning.
Mobo doesn't show any sign of life - no standby light or anything. I tried resetting CMOS and manually turning it on (not using the case) but no dice. Also tried taking out the RAM, which didn't do anything. I'm thinking the mobo is dead but I'm not 100% sure.
Unfortunately, I don't have any spare parts that I can use to test each individual part, nor do I have friends who are into computers. Any guidance on what to do from here would be much appreciated, thank you in advance!
