That looks good to me! I'd stretch to a GTX660 for graphics - barely any price difference but it's a bit faster, you get 2GB memory (games that are already out benefit from over 1GB at high settings so next year's games definitely will!) and the benefits of nVidia graphics - FXAA, TXAA, adaptive v-sync, PhysX etc. Other than that though, looks like solid choices. Only other thing is that if you're not overclocking, you could get the i5 3450 and save a bit of money there.

Add another 4GB of RAM, increase GPU to GTX 660 or HD 7870, and get a Hyper 212 Evo for your 3570k and you're set.

Thanks guys or girls for your replies! I looked into the 660 but i could only find it for 200 at minimum! Maybe a sale might help but thats not the point. I have a few questions and comments the cx500; would it be better to get the HX650 as it is modular for 30 bucks more? 4 gigs will definitely be added in later; thanks Bread! And how about the phantom 410? z11 should do however. should i over clock? is it really helpful? for gaming and browsing and watching videos? is it safe? i don't want to hurt Ivy. Now I thought that 2gb of memory only comes into play and effectively when its dual monitors and such?

The CX500 is fine for your build, but if it's only $30 more, why not. The Phantom is a great case. Almost bought it, be decided to get the Zalman Z11 Plus HF1. You could overclock, but there's really no point in it in gaming. At 4.4GHz, you are looking at a couple more FPS if that. But OC'ing the GPU is a different story. Adding ~200 MHz to that GPU could add around ~10FPS if you overclock it decent.

And 2GB VRAM helps out with higher anti-aliasing also. That means you put more on your GPU to get rid off jaggies and rough edges.

+1 to that re overclocking, but bear in mind you'll be voiding your warranty. I wouldn't bother personally.
