Building a 2nd Rig. And upgrading the 1st.

So I'm deciding on building a second rig. or just upgrading the CPU and using the other components to create the 2nd rig to duplicate the first rig. And I have a few options. My original rig is

Prodigy bitfenix case
Asus P8H77-I Mini itx Motherboard
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge- Also thinking about upgrading to i7
XFX R7850 Radeon graphics card- Upgraded to GTX 970-

If I upgrade then I'll be reusing the
GPU-XFX R7850
CPU-I5

Parts I'll need to buy
New Case ( would be cheaper) Would like to get another mini-Itx case
Motherboard
CPU
Also anyone know simple but good looking mini-itx cases outside of bitfenix?

At this point Future proofing is a concern which I think the board I have on my 1st rig is good. And GPU is fine Until that GTX 980 comes down $100-$200 ;)

So I'm a little on the fence because of the motherboard. whether to do a whole new rig build, It's always better when you can reuse components on a new build or when duplicating the old.

Any Opinions?

I could still get an i7 CPU to further future proof the 1st build. Which then at that point I could just buy 1155 Mobo for the i5 from 1st build use GPU,CPU,PSU for the 2nd build. This second rig will be for multi use and casual gaming where the 1st build will be used for strictly for gaming and entertainment.

Do you think the mobo I have now it obsolete? I guess what I'm trying to do is be able to reuse as many components as can. I don't mind getting a new mobo but if the current board on my build is still somewhat future proof then it's easier to just get a new CPU for the current board and find a decent/good board to use the i5 that i'll have.

The case that I have is still considered an excellent mini-itx , I am maxed out on memory and the GPU I could still probably get 80 or 100 bucks for it and invest in a GPU slightly better like GTX 960
