Building a Case from scratch

I want to build a custom pc case to support all my requirements. Wood or metal doesnt matter to me, all i know its harder to make it out of metal.

i need tips and tricks on how to make it, how to design it or where to design it(3d programs for example)

Ive looked into that now and i dont really see anything helpful to me as i can find.
I have already pitched a few ideas. this is kind of what im going for CURRENTLY.
