Hi guys, i had my eyes on the Alienware Alpha R2 but finally decided to build a compact controller based gaming rig myself.
I have an i7 3960x extreme sitting around and was wondering if that chip would be a good choice for such a compact rig (xbox/ps4 sized).
Also could you guys suggest me a good combination of parts that fits with that processor? My budget would be 600-1000 euros (already owning CPU).
That processor was in one of my watercooled/overclocked rig so yea, not sure if the heat would be nice to the machine.
Thanks guys!

First we need to decide the case do you have any that you would prefer?
Thermaltake Core V1
Fractal Design Node 304
Bitfenix Prodigy mItx

Those are some great cases however you want a ps4 sized case and those cost a lot more and are tricky to build in.
These are closer to what you want:
Silverstone RVZ01B
In-Win BP655

Once we know the case we can start forming the pc around it.

Thanks for helping me out.
I was hoping to find something sexy like the origin chronos but can't find anything that looks quite like it around.
So i guess i might go with the silverstone raven Z01B.
