[SOLVED] Building a computer 2022

Hi,
I'm planning on building a computer at the end of this month and don't really know what parts to pick for my specific needs.

I want to build a computer that can handle games like Rust, Escape from Tarkov, PUBG etc, etc.
I would also like to stream on discord while playing games.
I'm using a 144hz monitor with 1920x1080 and i don't plan on playing on 1440p anytime soon.

I live in sweden and the budget as of right now is 16000 SEK ~ 1800 USD

I do have a old gtx 1070 i could use as a placeholder for the time being if needed however, i do not know if bottle necking the cpu with a bad gpu will cause any damage after a while.
If i wait until late Febuary the budget is almost able to double, however i would rather not wait that long to upgrade.

A build that is "future proof" and will help me in the long run is a big bonus.

Any ideas?

Well, you could build a PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor for 1800 USD But if youre planning on a processor like intel i7 or what ever you could do it under 1300 USD

What would you recommend based on my needs?

Do you like amd or intel? (amd is faster but a bit costy)

Intel will save you some bucks but if you the gratest rig out of your budget then it would be amd

this seems like a good build but i have some questions,
is it worth upgrading the ssd to a "Seagate FireCuda 530 1 TB" and what would you do about the GPU

Wait a few weeks for the i7 12700F and B660 DDR4 boards to show up on European hardware sites. This board in the link down below should retail for right around $140 - $150 USD if I had to guess.

For a Gpu try to get one for your budget (find one on the net and post the link here )

The Corsair is better because it is cheaper with the same specs and comes with a robust heatsink, unless you have a better deal.

Not a good idea to buy GPU now. Use your 1070 for a while then make a decision.

Above build will be a solid foundation to whichever card you want to acquire, anything from mid to top tier from this and coming generation. Given the current situation its difficult to predict a price but this recent article should give you some idea...

A GPU holding back performance isn't going to damage anything. The GTX 1070 is still a decent 1080p card. Right now many would be extremely happy to have one.
