I'm building a computer a friend that just uses it for simple stuff, nothing intense like gaming.
Would prefer Intel processors and i am not sure if a graphics card would be necessary.
A list of parts and ideas for me to add onto would be grand.
my price limit would be $600 to the max.
Thank you.

I think an AMD A6-5400K Trinity would be better for price, its part of AMD new apu

He might be right and if you get the APU you dont need a graphics card either.

I think i would like an Intel CPU, its just that i feel more confident with those. What would you recommend? If at the time of buying the parts i realize i have more money i could spend on parts what would you recommend for me to add/upgrade?

There you go it should be a pretty solid build.

He would probably already be good with a pentium,

with the i3 would he even be fine when adding a gpu for some gaming if he changes his mind on that.

The ssd isn't strictly necessary, but imo is it a nice addition for faster boot times and such.If he doesn't need much storage could he do with just the ssd,but like i said with just the hdd would it work fine too
