I need some help building my own pc. I'm looking at a max of about $1200, and i'm playing at 1080p on a 144 hz monitor which I already own. I found this website that has student deals, so the OS is Windows Ultimate 7 for $9.75, and I am not entrusted by my parents to build the computer so we will be spending $89 for Fry's to do a pro build.
Here's the items I will need:

Cpu (Preferably Intel)

Cooler (Preferably an AIO like the h100i is what I was looking at the most)

Motherboard(Trying to go with a black and blue build, but a gold asus is perfectly fine)

Memory(Just some ddr3-1600 cl9 dual channel)

Storage(Probably wd blue 1tb and a 120-128 gb ssd)

Video Card(Something that will perform very well, like the 970 or a 290x)

Case(I like the corsair 450d)

Power Supply(Bronze, doesn't have to be modular)

Optical Drive(Something cheap, no blu-ray ) :p

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate $9.75

Wireless Network Adapter(As I wont be able to connect by ethernet, Something that could utilize both the 2.4 and 5 ghz channels of my wireless modem)

Frys Build Price: $89.99

And my monitor that I already own : Acer gn246hl 24" 144hz

I would appreciate your help so much, thanks and have a nice day!

You won't need it, liquid cooling is for intense overclocking. I have used liquid cooling in a machine I dropped roughly 3k into. In 1 year I had to replace the pump twice, and than it leaked inside my rig. Obviously didn't end well and only some parts were salvageable. A decent CPU fan with good ventilation in a case will do equal to liquid cooling without the risks.

But a hyper 212 evo can't bring the processor down to lower temps as fast as a liquid aio, can it?

Alright, would you approve of the Phanteks ph-tc12dx cpu cooler then?
