So I'm building my 11 year old brother a computer with some of my old parts and some new parts. I've never built a computer from scratch but I have replaced many parts in my computer so I figured it shouldn't be incredibly hard.

Here's what I already have:

AMD FX-4130 CPU

450w Power supply

Case

AMD Radeon HD 6670 Graphics card

500gb HD

And I'm thinking of buying:

Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard

K24-4021 - Kingston 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model KVR1333D3N9/8G

CD Drive

Windows 7

I know everything is compatible with that motherboard, I'm just not sure on the memory. It says "240 pin", will that work with this motherboard?

I just want to make sure all this will work together before I buy the parts.

Thanks!

i can't open that link for some reason.
you can figure out the revision number by yourself. it is usually printed on the PCB photo. on the motherboard, look at the bottom left side - that's where the rev number is printed. anyway, i mentioned revisions in case memory support changed with revisions. you'd need to match your chosen motherboard with your chosen memory kit. as for pin numbers, any standard DDR3 memory kit will work as long as it's on the memory support list.
