I'm building a cpu that i think can run most games at full visual performance....this will be my first build and i donn wanna *** it up..so i need yer help .

Yes it is a good board for the price, Z68 board has a little more features.

If you're spending that much on a motherboard, there's little reason to not get a Z77 board.

Also, not to be a dick, but a computer is not a CPU. The CPU is only a part of the computer. Intel builds CPUs, we build computers.

Yeah. It's like saying you want to build an engine...when really you want to build a car/truck. I always try to inform the less informed about these types of things - it's just a pet peeve of mine.

I agree though a Z77 would give you more room to upgrade.
