Hey, I am thinking of building a Smart Watch, but i am falling short of finding parts to do so. I want to try and get this to be reasonably thin but have a nice display (one that can cover the entire front) and functionality (Sorta like a pebble), i am wondering if anyone can help me with experiences possibly find good priced parts that can pack a punch and and maybe a bezel that can fit it all, I have looked around on "Arduino" and other places for small computing parts but these seem underpowered to me (Maybe there not and i'm just underestimating their capabilities) I am however Mainly asking if anyone has had any experience with this type of build and if so Please give me your advice

Parts I am currently looking for:

1. a Display preferably a display that covers the entire front of the watch face (the bezel will be pick around forming this)
2. a solid functioning board that can effectively run small apps (apps i can spend time working on myself)
3. A nice sized battery that can fit in this device (Something small of course)
4. a possible Bezel that can hold everything and extras should i need them
5. anything else that I will need that you know of would be Great!

Also note that price right now does not matter, and i'm just planning it out

I don't know if those parts are available to the general public yet, considering how smartwatches are a relatively new tech. I don't think I've come across and truly 'custom' smartwatches yet. Perhaps you should consider taking an existing smartwatch and trying to modify that? Seems more practical than building one from scratch, since you're essentially missing every major component of it.
