Building a gamer PC

Hi everybody,

Could you tell me if the following components are ok for a gaming PC build? Also if they will fit in the case?

Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower Case (gunmetal)

Motherboard: Asrock Z97 Extreme 4

RAM: G.skill Ripjaws X 8gb (2x4gb) Ddr3 1600mhz Cl8

Graphics Card: Geforce Zotac GTX Entusiasta Nvidia GTX 970 AMP! Extreme Core Edition 4GB

Processor: Intel Core i5 4440 3.10GHz 6MB 4th Generation LGA 1150 Quad Core - Box

Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Power Supply: ATX CX600M Corsair CP-9020060-WW

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 120GB

Yeah it will work and be a great gaming system but it could be improved.

The Z97 motherboards are designed for overclocking and that CPU can't be overclocked. I'd get a cheaper H97 board, no performance difference but you'd save cash.

If not overclocking, you don't really need the CPU cooler either. There is one included with the CPU and it is fine for stock settings.

That PSU has more wattage you need and the quality isn't great. You only really need a quality 400W+ unit for an i5 and 970 with no overclocking. This is cheaper and much better quality:

I suggest you also get a HDD as SSD will fill up quick! and if you are gonna be getting that motherboard get an i5 4690k then you can use the overclocking features or like jmsellars1 said just get a cheaper motherboard the Z series are overlocking boards I have 4690k on an asus board and it runs lovely would definitely recommend it!
