Hey guys, i'm on a tight budget, and looking to put together a computer that is strong enough to play top tier games like BF3, Skyrim, etc, on high settings while also being able to record them with little to no performance drop.

Basically, i'm new to all this, i don't understand anything related to computer parts, so i don't know what i need, where to get it from, all that jazz.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as i don't want to start spending money on something i know nothing about first, i'll be paying someone to put the parts together, so that bits ok, just unsure on what to buy!

I'm not entirely sure what overclocking does, but my budget is mostly around £600-800
I don't need a mouse, keyboard or monitor. 🙂

CPU= i5200k £130
Ram= 8gb Corsair vengence £35
Mobo= asrock extreme 4 gen 3 £140
Case= Your choice but spend about £60
PSU= OCZ Modstream 600w £60
SSD= ocz vertex 3 60gb £40
HDD= WD caviar black 1tb £45
GPU= Gtx 670 £300
Heatsink= Hyper 212 evo £25

£803 total

Sorry for the messy layout. The prices are very rough but it can be found for cheaper

Darth, those prices seem very unreasonable. Where did you find such small ones? For example, i5-2500k costs 160-170 pounds, and That motherboard costs nowhere that. You also forgot Windows.

Anyway, I'd suggest making a few changes, like changing the power supply (I wouldn't be for getting OCZ unit):

Adjustments can be made if it's over the budget limit (like don't get CPU cooler at first, and buy it in 6 months).

Thank you VERY much for even providing links to the locations of where they are cheapest, i greatly, greatly appreciate it!
